GTU Congratulates Student Aleksandre Abramishvili on Winning the Georgian Championship in Freestyle Wrestling
Alexandre Abramishvili, a second-year student of the Faculty of Law and International Relations of the Georgian Technical University, has won the title of Georgian national champion in freestyle wrestling among seniors, in the 125 kg weight category.
The rector of the Georgian Technical University, Academician David Gurgenidze, warmly congratulates Aleksandre Abramishvili on his victory in the national tournament in freestyle wrestling.
“Alexander Abramishvili’s next victory is the result of his hard work and determination, and at the same time, it is a clear manifestation of the versatile talent and potential of our youth. The Georgian Technical University is especially proud that its student has been successfully competing in the international arena for many years and representing the country with dignity. On behalf of the university community and students, I wish Alexander good health, boundless energy, perseverance, and many more great victories both in his sports career and in his personal and professional life. I am sure that Alexander Abramishvili will become a source of inspiration for our students and will bring many more significant successes to Georgia,” notes Rector David Gurgenidze.
