A Memorandum of Cooperation Signed Between GTU and the Training Center of the State Reserves and Civil Safety Services Agency


Professor Tamar Tsereteli, Vice-Rector of the Georgian Technical University, and Archil Kavtaradze, Head of the Training Center of the State Reserves and Civil Safety Services Agency, signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The memorandum envisages deepening cooperation between the parties in civil safety, sharing experience and knowledge, and implementing joint educational and practical projects.

Under this document, the parties will facilitate the development of professional and academic disciplines, the professional advancement of specialists in the field, and the expansion of opportunities for students to acquire practical knowledge.

The cooperation also entails conducting joint training sessions, seminars, and other educational activities. The parties will share their accumulated experience and best practices in civil safety, emergency management, and training specialists in these fields.

According to the GTU Vice-Rector, the collaboration between the university and the agency will support training personnel with the knowledge and skills required by modern standards, as well as the development of the civil safety sector. Professor Tamar Tsereteli said the memorandum lays the groundwork for future joint activities and the implementation of new projects. She added that a key objective of the university is to align its academic and scientific resources with practical needs; in this regard, the partnership with the agency will create additional opportunities for students and specialists and enable the exchange of knowledge and professional experience.
