The III International Conference “Global Practices in Multidisciplinary Scientific Research” Was Held at GTU


The III International Conference, “Global Practices in Multidisciplinary Scientific Research,” was held at Georgian Technical University. The event provided researchers from various scientific disciplines and representatives of the academic community with an opportunity to share modern research findings and experiences, engage in professional dialogue, and deepen international cooperation.

The conference aimed to bring representatives together in a shared space, facilitate the mutual exchange of modern research approaches and achievements, strengthen international academic cooperation, and foster professional and scientific ties among researchers from different countries.

Representatives from leading universities across 17 European and Asian countries joined Georgia at the international scientific forum.

At the conference’s official opening, Professor Tamar Tsereteli, Vice-Rector of the Georgian Technical University, welcomed the participants. She noted that the two-day international conference would deepen academic and scientific dialogue.

The Vice-Rector emphasized the importance of sharing experience and implementing joint projects among researchers from various countries to address modern challenges, noting that events of this scale significantly enhance the university’s internationalization and open new opportunities for young scientists within the international scientific community.

The conference’s working sessions were distinguished for their thematic diversity, spanning a wide range of multidisciplinary research. Over two days, participating scientists presented new research. They deliberated on pressing challenges, addressing key issues in engineering education, transport infrastructure, digital technologies, cyber-communication, social sciences, agriculture, medicine, chemical technology, and environmental challenges.

The conference paid particular attention to scientific presentations by researchers from Georgian Technical University. University representatives presented research findings on engineering education, the Georgian state language, technological development, clinical data analysis, road infrastructure, and environmental challenges.

The conference program also included online working sessions, expanding opportunities for international researchers to join scientific discussions and thematic sessions and creating additional avenues for international scientific collaboration.

The successful hosting of the III International Conference, “Global Practices in Multidisciplinary Scientific Research,” once again highlighted Georgian Technical University’s role in fostering international scientific cooperation. The event deepened academic ties with foreign partners, established new professional connections, and showcased the university’s scientific activities within the international academic community.
